ROLE OF A COACH
At Bridge, coaches are vital members of our team—working alongside staff and athletes to embody our core values and help close the gap between treatment and training. As a coach, you'll lead personal training sessions and small group classes that meet Bridge’s high standards. You’ll manage your classes and clients with professionalism, clear communication, and care—building trust through consistency, empathy, and expertise. More than just leading workouts, our coaches are ambassadors of the Bridge lifestyle: modeling a commitment to health and wellness, fostering meaningful relationships, and helping create a supportive, connected gym community.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
You have trained both individuals and/or small group classes.
You have worked with an array of people from various demographics and fitness levels.
You are comfortable modifying and scaling movements for an individuals needs.
You are well versed with various training implements including, dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells.
You are capable of leading a group of people.
Knowledge
You know how to appropriately prescribe exercise utilizing varying modalities.
You are confident in identifying movement faults and know how to cue corrections.
You know how to demonstrate points of performance to appropriate movement standards.
You know how to prevent and identify general injuries and provide a safe exercise environment.
Education
You have completed education in general and/or specialized fields within fitness, health and wellness.
You are willing to pursue avenues of continued education within relevant fields.
You are comfortable collaborating with professionals to present your knowledge and experience in the form of workshops and seminars.
You have seen the extended versions of all three Lord of the Rings movies.
